reading rainbow.

i don't have high expectations this year.
i've been in a bit of a book rut. i'm hoping that starting this challenge will give me a push back into the reading world.
i'm thinking a book a month?

doesn't sound too terrible. especially, since last year, my goal was almost three times that! maybe it helped to have a week long {grown up} reading vacation planned.  and to have a kid who went to bed at 7ish and who wasn't going to be starting an extracurricular or two soon!

not sure that i'm going to put modifiers on the types of books i want to read this year. maybe i should just so i can seem more intelligible! ;) how about three 'real' books. seems manageable!

and while i'm on the subject of books, i miss book stores. the other day, i just wanted to grab a drink and pass some time reading between appointments. but there was no where to go! so i ended up at a fast food restaurant, a girl's gotta eat, and i think the staff thought i was crazy when i had finished eating and was still sitting there.
