- ballet flat socks rock. ;)

- thinks it's awesome when someone unfriends you {quite ceremoniously} yet forgets to remove me from their email list and sends me a fundraiser request for their child. um, what?

- ben was looking at an instruction manual for his take apart airplane... and i said, 'you reading the instruction manual?' he said, 'no. it's a book about screws and airplanes.' that's right. my bad buddy!

- i have toilet paper ocd. seriously, the end needs to come over the top of the roll. not the bottom. i flip it at my home if someone puts it on wrong and will do so at work too. haven't done it at someone else's house... yet...

- have been wearing my moccasins to work. when i picked ben up from school, he said, 'mom you got your slippers on?' apparently, he told his teacher, miss shelley, that he liked her slippers, aka moccasins, too.

- mumford and son's new cd make me happy.

- and this cd is my new go to house cleaning music. ;)

- was blaming the cold weather for my recent carpal tunnel flare up. but then i realized it might be all the time on the computer at work... blargh.

- asked nick to put some air in my tires. gotta love fall. also, asked if he could put some gas in the tank when he did it. came home from volleyball last night proud that he filled my tires. then he told me, i should get gas in the morning. the low fuel light came on. what?! really. you drove in the car for a total of 45 minutes and didn't look at the tank light to see if it was full. boys.

- dug out a handmade card for a friend. made me miss scrapping like crazy. not sure where to find the time though...

ten on tuesday. 7.10.12

- thoroughly enjoyed last week. yay for mini vacations. ;)
- i'm reading a book that i know i've read but i can't remember reading it. the joys of growing older!
- went to the library last week and they were vacuuming? i thought it was supposed to be a quiet place. my next stop was walgreens and they were vacuuming there too? maybe the universe was telling me i should have vacuumed my house!
- tried updating the blog yesterday and my silly computer was not cooperating. hoping to get some pictures up here soon. we've been busy!
- why if a decision has been made, will someone ask you for your thoughts/opinions? it doesn't make me feel like i've been included in the decision making process, it just seems like a waste of time.
- a certain little boy wasn't listening and i told him that it was making my heart sad. he paused. made a funny face and asked, 'is it happy now?'
- there is a snafu with parts for our pinterest party this month. thinking i still need to do something. maybe it'll be some sort of craft with ben when nick's on his 'no girls allowed' trip. {we could have gone, just chose not to join them this time.}
- thank you jamie for making me a channing tatum fan. so didn't want to see magic mike but i did enjoy the eye candy. watched 21 jump street right after and have step up next on my list!
- ben is outside grilling dinner and ben just picked the sides. i love not having to worry about dinner.
- thinking of selling/purging all my scrapbook goodies. i think if i pick it up again, i might do digi... tho i do like the feel of paper and glue. ack! gonna decide soon, i hope.

ten on tuesday. 4.17.12

- ben is sick. again. {crazy fevers mostly in the middle of the night.}broke my heart when he asked me to stay home with him on monday instead of dadda. made it up to him by ditching volleyball to hang with my lil love bug. xo.

- went through and cleaned out my cookbook collection. i have a problem. ;) the library will be receiving a hefty donation soon!

- found free rice again. how did i forget about this site? and now, they've changed it. there's a bigger variety of quizzes. no more vocab only. um, my geography could use some work!

- really wanted to open up shannon's school of driving again this morning. if there is a turn lane, get in it. not halfway in that one and halfway in mine.

- we are some how obsessed with this show. it started as a joke. i put it on after we had a visit from a family member who enjoys mindless tv and now we can't get enough. and ben likes the auction guy's voice!

- was putting away supplies at work today, and read something on one of the glove boxes that has me scratching my head... '100 gloves by weight.' what? how does that work? especially when sometimes the gloves are flawed and have some lumpy pieces of rubber on em. no wonder we end up with an odd glove now and then.

- ben dipped his yellow pepper in gatorade at dinner today. ah, whatever. he ate it. that's what counts, right?

- the one news station i listen to on the way home was giving the forecast and the guy kept saying we were going to have thunder showers. wha? had to do a search when i got home to determine the difference...

- trying to figure out this i cloud stuff. yay for nick upgrading my macbook. hopefully, i'll have it all figured out by the time we own an ipad! and i'm thinking/hoping this will maybe push me into the world of digital scrapbooking. i've tried. but i miss paper... if it's so easy that i can do it anywhere without uploading photos, i just might be convinced! :)

- went to the post office today. forgot it was tax day. um, we file in like february. makes me nervous otherwise! had a package i wanted to get to someone and completely slipped my mind. thankfully, i timed it right and was only in there for like 5 minutes. the line when i left was atrocious!

ten on tuesday 9.20.11

- it's freaking the end of september. really? time needs to slow down a bit.
- love listening to baby boy giggles. he gets extra giggly around bedtime. ;)
- was doing so well on the running, then yesterday... sore ankle. out of the blue. hadn't run in a few days. now i'm on orders to rest... grrr.
- put my first halloween decoration up this weekend. now to drag out the rest. and to order costumes for all of us. can't decide on individual costumes or a group theme... thoughts?
- ben loves sand. and ben loves his plain boring pasta that he's played with for about a year... found this on pinterest and finally got around to making it. he loves it. totally success! yay.plan on dyeing him some new pasta soon too.
- made some yummy food. these knock off bean burritos were close. missing some onion...  nick said this was sweet. not my cup of tea. but worth a shot. the man is hard to please with breakfast foods.
- how amazing is this place? we need one in the states. because i'm not sure that i'll ever make it to sweden!
- we've offically started christmas shopping.
- just introduced to hanging with friends. blast you people!
- emailed my scrap boss to verify my deadline. totally thought it was october 10. nope it was september 10. dude, i suck. thank goodness she's so nice!!

ten on tuesday. 9.6.11

- i'm tired of getting sick right before we have a vacation. seriously. i don't get it.
- the pressner family is enjoying another staycation. totally love the no pressure just enjoy my family time. :)
- loves that ben will walk into a room and say 'hew-wo mommy/daddy' not sure where the l's went. he used to pronounce them...
- we totally reinforced ben's theory that all fire trucks do is 'throw candy'. went to a local labor day parade and he loved it.
 - am not sure i'm going to update this week. i hope to, but am making no promises.
- we are the proud new owners of a treadmill. yay for generous family. {if you're reading this... thank you auntie!} now this inclement weather shouldn't interfere with my training. if only this cold would go away....
- my words with friends addiction is growing. thank you all for coming and playing with me!
- an update from last week: i did complete a scrap project. hope to get a few more done this week!
- finally saw the last harry potter. LOVED it. totally made me love the books/series/movies even more. i want to find time to reread all the books and rewatch all the movies. seriously. i might have a problem.
- pinned this recipe. made it. was completely disappointed. ;( really. don't waste your time.

ten on tuesday. 8.30.11

- i totally forgot yesterday was monday. well, until i remembered and then i was just too lazy to try to figure out what i should blog. ;)
- so excited for this new necklace to come in the mail. i love trees!{they even have their own category on pinterest!}
- i love my son.  he makes me laugh. every day.
- started week four of my couch to 5k. 1/2 mile intervals are not fun.
- as soon as i'm done blogging, i'm going to try to scrap. i hope i remember how... i have deadlines!
- was told this weekend, by a good friend, that her mom used to cook hot dogs over the gas flame on the stove. um, why haven't i thought of that?! i knew you could do marshmallows... but hot dogs? i might have to try it.
- had a home made butter beer this weekend. it was tasty. i'm told it wasn't as good as the real thing though.
- vacation next week! only have a few outings planned. looking forward to playing it by ear.
- why do i hate blogging so much? i mean, i love going back and rereading all we've done. i just hate finding time to do it.
- is it wrong that i want to start christmas shopping?

nick helped me hook it up tonight. and i've already printed and scrapped one picture. might be a world record. i'm really hoping this helps with my scrappers block. maybe i should reword that. it's  not that i have a block. it's just i don't want to scrap any of the 29,443,030 pictures that are laying around the study. weird, i know. but i'm strange. what can i say? the selphy is giving me instant picture gratification and i'm totally digging it.   i'm also hoping this will cut down on our photo budget. i did good and only ordered with hella sales but it was still a pain in the ass because i could never seem to upload on a regular basis, so when there was a sale it was a huge process. and it will cut down on the photo clutter that is a bit out of hand which is another bonus!

haven't played around with all of the different settings and/or functions. baby steps. ;)

i blogged the entire month of january. woot woot!
really trying to be better at it. i think it's so neat to go back and read what i've written over the past few years. think it will be cool for ben. and if we decide to have additional kidlets for them too!  and considering i don't journal, it's an awesome source of memories. i really must print them out and store them in a binder or something...

kinda odd because i was originally going to blog that the issue of rsc is out. so i guess it was meant to be... i have to tell you to check out the new issue! ;o)
