bad first...

whenever someone tells me that they have good news and bads news which do i want first, i always reply bad first. let's me hear the positive thing last. make sense?

so here is the bad news. ben has another double ear infection. poor guy. was a hot mess this morning when i went to get him out of bed. looked miserable. so sad. really was hoping he would fight this one off. not so much. was a little snotty and fussy yesterday and just hit with full force today. kept him home from school... nick and i did split shifts at our jobs! i took morning duty and he came home and spent the afternoon with him and took him to the doctor. apparently, it's going around. sigh.

the good news...
we made it the entire month of february without a doctor's visit!
hardly seems exciting, right? but since ben was going every few weeks, i'll take it! ;o)
