yesterday...

all my troubles seemed so far away.
kidding.

ben slept all day. well, here ya go.
went to daycare. and he doesn't like naps to begin with. try to get him to nap with multiple screaming babies near by. not so much. or with lots of fun toys that he could be playing with. again, he'll skip the naps. so of course, when we get home, he's exhausted. we also took him grocery shopping before he got home. {he LOVES the grocery store!}
beaner fell asleep around 730. ahem, so did mommy and daddy. i woke up around 1130 and took him upstairs and changed and fed him. he slept until 630 when i had to wake him up for school! he fussed a few times in the night but always calmed himself down. woohoo.
totally makes up for the lack of sleep we've experienced the past few nights. totally hoping it isn't a fluke. but exciting to know that he doesn't need a feeding in the middle of the night and that he can quiet himself. {i bought earplugs for the cry it out stage that was coming!}

so why am i babbling about all of this? because i still haven't taken his 5 mo pictures. terrible, terrible mom! fingers crossed i can find some time either tonight or tomorrow or he'll look the same in the 5 mo and 6 mo pictures!
