weekend 5.29.10

i can't figure out how to label this suckers. bare with me!

i can't even remember what went on! and it wasn't even a super busy weekend. i'm in trouble.
maybe it was because we were all sick. ben's sickies attacked nick and myself. i didn't have a voice for three days. it was insane.

lemme see if i can remember...

friday.
lazy day at home. ben was a fussasaurus rex. can't really blame him tho!
we did do some yard work in the evening.
and ben helped swiffer. 

one of the garden boxes. which is completely out of control as of tonight. must get out there and get to some of the weeds that have found their way inside. otherwise, everything appears to be growing!

saturday.
we slept all morning. so nice. then i ran and got my hair done. my hair dresser was nice enough to let beaner come by at the end and she cut his hair for free! love her!!
and she gave him a mohawk. unfortunately, he has my hair and it fell almost instantly. nick did snap this picture.

mister took a nap so mommy went outside to read. was a beautiful evening!

when he did wake up, he crawled around our not so clean deck. ended up in the sink for a quick wash. 

ben has never had a sink bath. he kept sliding into the sink fully clothed. we finally gave in and let him sit in it. i think he liked it!

sunday.
breakfast at the scrambled diner. i love it.

not sure why people insist on putting their sunglasses on ben. but he sure is cute. ;-)

then nick went and played frisbee golf with the boys. i gave him the point and shoot to take with. yeah, he forgot to take any pictures. he sucks.

sunday.
rained out beach day. had a good time anyway. company is all that matters right?
beaner napping. he was a champ all day long.

the rain finally cleared and we made our way to the beach. it was a gorgeous evening.

can't wait to get back and enjoy a day there. ben seemed to like it. but it's sand. what boy doesn't like getting dirty?
