friday i worked and we had killer storms. no pictures...

saturday: our trip to indy for nick's uncle's 60th birthday. always fun to spend time with family. also had a blast teaching them silly camp games courtesy of jason! was an uber long day, i don't think we got in until midnight but totally worth it!

wind farms. so cool. i take pictures every time we pass by! only sharing my least favorite. still working out my photochallenge pics and don't want to have duplicates on here.

sunday: dad's day. ben and i napped and nick got to enjoy some video game time before we headed to my parents for some food and sun!

ben loved the pool. enjoying the cool raft that mommy and daddy bought him last year on clearance!

maybe by next year ben will be able to say dad or pop or father and we'll have a different title. but for now, beanerman refers to nick as dada.

ben is lucky to have such a great daddy. someone who loves him so very much. a daddy who is totally hands on. {which i adore.} love that we are a team. i couldn't ask for a better partner in this crazy journey called parenthood!

- i have strawberries! cute little baby strawberries!
- i volunteered to work for part of the day tomorrow. i haven't worked on a friday since before ben was born!!
- mommy's night! so excited!
- beaner is giving kisses. open mouthed ones. so sweet.
- thinks that reheated grilled hot dogs are a perfectly fine breakfast.
- have been collecting some quotes. there are a few that i'm really digging. think that will be an upcoming post.
- thinks that my type a, list making self, is showing... what's with all the lists lately?!

a few randoms.

- our dumbasses played volleyball in the crazy storm yesterday. it hurt. both the pelting of the rain and the hardness of the ball! oh and the diving in the puddles and having sand every where was something. totally fun and cold despite all my complaining.
- took a bike ride today. ben LOVED it. {i'm being lazy on uploading pics, but i'll share someday!}
- had one crazy day at work today. tomorrow will be even crazier. i guess the good thing is that crazy makes the day go by.
- i have no desire to deal with coupons. none. must get motivated.
- and although i'm not a big fan of tom cruise, i really want to see this movie.

but ben was helping dad put away the dishes before we left... i know, a bad parenting picture. we all have those moments, i'm just choosing to share mine. ;-)

made it to wisconsin in decent time. and had only a few almost accidents!

saturday:
we got up and played some volleyball. we all got burnt! our silly selves didn't apply sunscreen since it was like 60, cold, and windy. we're smart....

then nick and i chilled at the pool for a bit. i was really trying to finish my book!
