- i dislike group texting. that is all.

- i don't understand why someone who is coughing like crazy and complains about how sick they are, goes outside to smoke in 10 degree weather.

- what happened to all the garbages at the end of drive thrus? i miss them.

- is saddened by the fact that a girl/lady/woman would make their resolution to get a boy to propose.

- my kid thought jingle bells went: 'jingle bell jingle bell go away.' we sing a catchy little diddy that i made up about sugar bugs, which might be why he's confused.

- this is absolutely awful. seriously. i do not want to watch an infomercial about ear wax during my cooking shows. ew.

- working on my one little word for the year. i have a few floating around. hopefully, it will have it's own special post soon.

- ben asked me to change the radio station when the new justin bieber/nikki minaj song came on. told me to leave it on the station that was playing sting. i am so proud!

- why does the media post the craziest picture they can find of accused people?

- beyond relieved that i am not sequestered right now. the trial i was up for started yesterday. phew.  {do know of two people that are serving. anxious to hear their stories and hope time passes quickly for them.} i cannot imagine.

sorry for disappearing. life got a little hectic with holidays and everything esle.
hoping they are back to normal.
hoping to find my blogging grove again.
have lots to catch up on.
have to upload pics from my camera and phone. it's been over a month since i've done that. totally unheard of around these parts. i usually do it weekly!
been updating the notes section in my phone so i can remember some tidbits from here and there! pretty sure i'll forget a bunch still, oh well. ;)

wordless wednesday: really ben?

and because i can't do wordless...
he has been obsessed with fruit snacks. there is a sign up list for his holiday party. when i asked what he wanted to bring after reading all the options, he picked fruit snacks. apparently, the teachers ask all of the kids what they want... he asked for fruit snacks on the list. {which is what he's asked to bring to every party i've ever had the option of bringing something to!} i think he's got fruit snacks on the brain!

ten on tuesday. 12.18.12

- i have yet to meet a nut roll i like. yes, i'm not a big sweet person, but do they all have to be so darn dry?

- going to take ben to pick out gifts for his teachers. i'm excited and nervous at the same time!

- could not type doing today. every time i tried it came out dong. i'm sure i missed one and someone will laugh during a chart audit.

- nick was off work for a few days last week, so i let him and ben sleep in those days. the first morning, ben tip toed downstairs while i was making breakfast and said, 'mommy you forgot to wake me up!' tried to explain i was letting him sleep in. i guess three year olds don't appreciate that. ;)

- why when i finally start posting on instagram do they change their terms. what to do... what to do...

- ben's actually watching a charlie brown christmas. i cannot believe it.

- and speaking of ben and christmas. he has lost interest in the 24 books of christmas {see this post}. le sigh. he hasn't opened one since friday. and when i asks, he says, 'no thank you.'

- not sure what's up with the font randomly changing to blue. trying to edit and pay more attention but that blogger is a sneaky one.

-  pretty sure that catching up on photo posts ain't gonna happen tonight... maybe tomorrow? ah, procrastination.

- decided the boxes of rubber maid totes with christmas decorations are going back downstairs... basically untouched. no sense in decorating when i'm just gonna take it down in a week, right? i know, i know, i'm a grinch. i've heard that before!

working on my holiday cheer tonight... have to make ten dozen cookies for tomorrow! had big dreams to work on all my weekend posts this evening. maybe tomorrow?

ten on tuesday 12.11.12

- i've decided groceries taste better when nick buys em. ;)

- 90% done with christmas shopping and wrapping!

- still need to get motivated and decorate a bit more, but now i'm thinking it's not worth it for only two weeks. bah humbug!

- seeing snow on tv this weekend made me realize that i miss it. what is that? i hate snow! i mean it's pretty when it's new and sparkly and i think it should only be allowed to snow at night. not during rush hour!

- have a patient who has some missing fingers.  his wife offered up the info on how he lost them. {i can never ask} and she made some comment about how he is no longer allowed to play with power saws. that maybe he would have learned his lesson the first time... he was missing parts of three fingers! ouch!

- my kid has a new obsession with silly socks. and if we run out of silly pairs, he has been insistent upon mixing the pairs we have left. {might be a good little gift if anyone needs ideas.}

- excited that christmas cards are done! freaked a bit when i realized ben's face wasn't visible. nick wasn't too concerned though. you'll understand when you see it.

- must find time in our crazy schedule this weekend to make cookies. hoping i can convince nick to help. maybe even ben!

- took my seat belt off in the driveway today. before the car was stopped like usual. ben said, 'no momma. you'll fall out!' glad to know he listens when i tell him he has to stay strapped in.

- mickey mouse club house's theme song is sung by they might be giants. so cool. nick totally didn't believe me. i might tolerate watching it now just for that reason since i'm not the biggest disney person...
