- i'm beginning to lose hope in the blogging battle.
- i think it's because i now have to seat in front of a computer all day at work. it's the last thing i want to do when i get home.
- may neglect the last few months of wip and do christmas and new years and maybe try to start fresh? in march?
- have melie's pictures and bullets all on my phone. i haven't forgotten about her, just haven't wanted to be near a computer.
- i am so sick of snow.
- add that i'm sick of bitter cold too. i feel trapped in our house!
- olympics are coming! so excited.
- just finished american horror story: coven. oh my word! love that show.
- saw bad grandpa with the girls last week. meh. so not what i was expecting.
- ben helped nick cook dinner last week. shrimp something or another. he loved it. and enjoyed the finished product too!

- whenever i wrote/typed the date yesterday it weirded me out to see 20/14!
- shh, i'm typing this at work. not looking forward to my commute this afternoon. 20 inches of snow. ugh! i'm so over winter.
- saw nut job last night with ben. john and the girls invited us last minute. meh. glad to spend time with everyone but wasn't impressed.
- ben was playing a video game and i asked him what the name of it was... he replied, 'bad guys fighting the world.'
- cannot power through this last bit of allegiant. {divergent trilogy) i really don't like who that picked to play tris. maybe i'm boycotting?
- think little miss has her first cold. has had quite the runny nose. hoping it doesn't get worse!
- feeling lucky. love my friends. love the laughter they bring into my life. wish i saw them more. xo.
- have a terrible itch to go shopping. hoping i can reign it in!
- trying to make a to do list for this month and realized it's almost over. eek. maybe i can get one project done.... maybe?
- waiting for hubs to help me with new mac and external drive. {the new computer has no hard drive. well, a tiny bit.} when that happens, the wip posts will resume. hoping i can corner him sometime this week!

- i did it! blogged every day in november. thank goodness i did that challenge or i never would have caught up!
- got my posts out of order, chronologically, again. i suck. oh well.
- got a new coat. hooray black friday sale. it's an omni-heat from columbia and it's super warm. which is saying a lot for me. i'm always cold. can never find a good coat.
- cannot believe it is december. where has 2013 gone?
- trying to figure out how to rearrange my living room for the darn tree! all this baby stuff makes it crowded!
- i really dislike migraines. especially ones that last for 24+ hours.
- really wanting to find time to go through all of the presents i've purchased and finish up my shopping!
- looking forward to friend time this weekend.
- i want to reread the hunger games trilogy again. feel like i forgot everything when we watched catching fire.
- tried to not be a mac snob. but i am. i can't help it. i just prefer em over other computers.

- saw a lady riding a bike in a tube top and flip flops and a helmet?
- fantasy football draft happened. i have aaron rodgers and matt stafford. really? did they both have to be bears rivals? why not a drew brees or tom brady again?!
- my to do list has grown exponentially knowing i have four weekdays left before going back to work.
- one would think that after owning an iphone for four years, i would know how to make a phone call on the darn thing. every time i go to the contact list i forget a step. duh
- did two loads of laundry this weekend. total first in this house. i think that has brought my lifetime loads completed to three. ;)
- the tomatoes in our garden are out of control. i've made baked tomatoes and homemade pasta sauce already. thinking salsa is next and maybe gazpacho? feel free to share recipes with me!
- am in desperate need of a nap, but my desire to get things done is winning right now. ;?
- nick's work has been so busy lately that they have sent two corporate people to help out this week. {the craziness is part of the reason for my laundry lesson!}
- nick had his pay league fantasy football draft on sunday. two of the league members passed out before the draft was over. terrible. and they started at noon.
- had starbucks orange spice iced coffee this weekend. was tastier than i expected. nick had got it when i said i didn't really want anything... what was wrong with me? any who. not too bad!

friday:
peapod day. love that they recycle the bags!
nick really needed his coffee. this was how he left the sugar. made me laugh because i just commented about one of his little quirks and how ben picked it up!
target stop and some starbucks. seriously, cannot get enough coffee {mostly half caff} this pregnancy.
and fruit. so excited for these cherries. i ate them in one day. that's okay because it's fruit, right?
when the boys got home, we ran some errands. really needed to get some baby stuff. figured with about a month to go, it really needed to be done!
ben passed the time in the check out line by jumping from colored square to colored square!
while we were out, i got a text from my dad asking if i played candy crush. so funny. shocked that he is as into texting as he is... and candy crush?! could not stop laughing. apparently, he needed a ticket or something. still holding strong and not joining in!
dairy queen stop! {happy to say that i haven't had another since this picture was taken. i guess this pregnant woman does have a bit of willpower!}
saturday:
the boys playing zingo. it's ben's new favorite game. beware if you come over, he'll make you play it and probably cheat! :)
nick wanted to see the new superman. i was a bit hesitant about length and content but who am i?
so we went.
my sweet, little clark kent.
he was a total trooper. the movie was long. i was antsy. that doesn't say much, though.
have to admit that i was confused at first. kept wondering where peter parker was. doh. that's spider man! then i realized that i have never seen a superman movie! this was my first. was good. and superman was hot. that always helps!
came home and headed to the cooper's for some swimming. was kinda chancy since it really should have been beaner's nap time. but was worth a shot...
they played chicken...
and went down the slide a zillion times.
ben is usually laying down. not sure why... we need to work on his abs or something. but he doesn't do it on other slides, so who knows!
nick got a phone call about work while we were there. mister stud muffin and i walked home on our own so nick could finish up the call and then hurry up and head to work.

we napped. was afraid ben would fall off of the bed!
nick was home and ben wanted him to open his father's day presents. didn't spend much but i wanted ben to give nick something.
ben bought him: a mini disc golf set, some frisbees, and an instructional disc golf book. ;)
had yogurt for dinner. my ob thinks my leg cramps are calcium, not potassium, related. and i hate milk, so cheese and yogurt it is!
sunday:
happy father's day!
nick played frisbee golf with his dad and uncle. beans and i enjoyed a lazy morning.
ben's been on a toast kick. wanted it with chocolate chips! i agree, sweet boy, peanut butter and chocolate chips are delicious on some toast!
had to run out and pick up a few odds and ends.
not sure why he's been sitting like this in the car. cracks me up!
he's an awesome helper. so strong! {yes, it's empty!}
he's so obsessed with zingo, he plays by himself!
we napped and the boys came home right around when we woke up. nick picked out a recipe that he wanted to try from my pinterest boards. it had been quite some time since we had made any pinterest recipes. these were all keepers. {have a recipe post in the works. coming soon to a blog near you!}

we then went over to my parents to visit.
this was the strangest salsa i have ever tried. i love green olives. i'm a huge fan of cilantro. not sure if i'm a fan of them together!

even though it is littler that i thought it would be, i'm happy it's super portable and ben likes it! {best gifts for parents are ones they can use with their kids, right? well, maybe just father's day and mother's day!}
solar cover time. always an adventure when it comes to pool shenanigans at the parental unit's residence... today was no different.
nick and kevin hurried up and got it on the pool before a certain someone could get back outside. good timing boys!
ben was on a pick up stick hunt. told him i would give him a penny per stick. he gave up after about five. apparently, he gets his yard work ethic from me!

had a personal pedicurist stop by and help me out with my chipping polish. she also kept me company for a few hours since nick had to go to work.
she did a great job for not liking feet!
went upstairs after she left and found that someone had rolled his way out of his tent. silly boy.

- i know english is a hard language. but i'm loosing faith in this country's education. so irritated with people misusing words. there is a difference between past and passed. {complains the person who can't be bothered with caps and proper punctuation...}
- have been watching north america with ben. so fun to watch his reactions and to see him learn.
- so cute when ben comes up and kisses my tummy and says 'i love you baby.'
- am no longer on bed rest. can work but i have to go slow and take frequent breaks. if my symptoms return, then i'm on desk duty. hoping these pains stay away and we can make it a few more weeks!
- go blackhawks! two goals in 17 seconds. have to say, i was thinking there would be a game seven!
- cannot believe fourth of july is next week. holy cow does time fly!!
- ben asks for america cheese.
-had no computer access at work today. awesome when you used computerized charting. {yes, that was sarcastic.} however, we were able to move much more quickly without having to log into a computer all the time.
- a little irritated at the computer. it ate one of my weekend in picture posts. just when i think i'm making progress!
- hospital bag is half packed. yay!

since i skipped the ten on tuesday this week...
- slowly but surely crossing lots off of my list from monday. weee!!!
{1. in progress. waiting on laundry!. 2. clothes have been sorted by sizes and the first load has been washed. 3. done! 4. car seats resolved. diaper bag, not so much. 5. in process 6. 5 posts this week. that has to count!}
- feeling 93803 pounds lighter. this pregnancy has been emotionally exhausting. i have had 6 ultrasounds. 2 of them being level 2 ones. baby bug's pregnancy post will be around soon... been jotting down thoughts along the way, but happy to say that as of tuesday, we were reassured that the abnormalities that had us freaked out in february and again last week, are resolved. and baby is healthy but big! guesstimates are putting her around 9 pounds at delivery! {hooray csections?!}and no, we didn't share with everyone. couldn't handle the extra pressure of always being asked and then didn't want to freak everyone out if it was nothing. so, yes, some of you may have found out via blog. don't worry, you aren't the only ones. and the stress and worry of everything that could be wrong, made me have reservations about prepping. i know it's silly, but it's why i think i kept putting everything off and didn't want to worry about sharing sex of the baby. i just wanted her to be okay. ;)
- our schedule and weekends are packed from now until baby comes. hoping that the fourth of july weekend stays relatively low key. and we can still find time for ourselves and ben and making sure we are as ready as can be when baby decides to join us. gotta love summer!
-found myself sent home from work yesterday. had to go to my ob appointment a few hours early. apparently, work had been so horrendous i didn't have time to stop and feel contractions. just this terribly awful shooting pains to my lower abdomen. eek! was told to do nothing yesterday, and take it easy the rest of the weekend. can go back to work monday if the symptoms i was having are resolved. {maybe i was in denial... couldn't possibly have this baby now. it's too early!}
- finally starting to get the hang of this computer. better late than never!

- totally forgot to post yesterday. we rescheduled our maternity shoot from sunday to yesterday... the weather was much more cooperative. have seen two sneaks and cannot wait to see the rest!
- ben has become quite the bossy pants. he directs nick and i on how to act when we're playing or in random every day life.
- if you're at a doctor's office, please turn the sound off on your phone. no one wants to hear your key strokes or notifications or you unlocking your phone.
- why can't i do dishes without completely soaking myself?
- my mom couldn't stop introducing me as her 'pregnant daughter.' gee, thanks, mom. i think they can see that! couldn't she just have said daughter? i guess she was excited! ;)
- my parents watched ben a while back and some how ben got my dad hooked on candy crush?! i don't even play that game. i've thought about but am trying to be strong!
- feeling like if it isn't one thing, it's another. have lots going on and i'm hoping that doctor's visits will be few and far between in the future because we're keeping em hopping as of late. all three of us!
- nick has been working a lot. last week, he walked in the door after work and ben said, 'daddy. are you going to volleyball or work or are you going to stay home for a little bit?' aw...
- it's june. where is time going? cannot believe baby bug will be here next month!
- still getting used to the new computer. tried to upload some pics this weekend. still having some issues. yay for technologically gifted hubbies who try to help their wives.

- so excited that school is out for the summer in one more day. makes my communte a wee bit easier!
- we have ben watching sytycd. it's awesome when he gets up and dances along.
- purchased a few plants for our garden boxes and deck planters... hoping the weather cooperates and i can get them planted in the next few days. {poor ben was watering dead plants the other day!}
- got back from a walk on the beach with nick's mom's side of the family yesterday... gigi {nick's mom} said, 'i'm pooped.' ben turned to nick and said, 'daddy you go check her butt.' could not stop laughing.
- the new camera and phone and computer are all hooked up. hoping to get some blogging done tonight. yay for new electronics that will hopefully speed up what has gotten to be a super lengthy process, which is why i think i've dreaded doing them for the past few months.
- my girlfriends are the best. had a 'baby sprinkle' thursday. was surprised, contrary to their belief!
- and the above bullet, has made my baby list a wee bit shorter. feeling like i have a few things if baby bug decides to arrive early. which i'm not hoping for...
- love the new coffee mate girl scout creamers: thin mint and coconut caramel. surprisingly, i like the thin mint more!
- another new grocery favorite of the moment: jalapeno philadelphia cream cheese. yum. a bit spicy though, so be warned!

- love the new coffee mate girl scout creamers: thin mint and coconut caramel. surprisingly, i like the thin mint more!
- another new grocery favorite of the moment: jalapeno philadelphia cream cheese. yum. a bit spicy though, so be warned!

- forgot to post yesterday. oops! got distracted by an impromptu gathering with friends.
- hoping to figure out the new computer and have some posts for this week. {think nick will be angry if i continue to use the mac when i have a new, shiny laptop!}
- booked our newborn photo shoots and mini maternity sessions. phew! so excited.
- remember my wild turkey question from a few weeks back? well, i have confirmation. i'm not crazy. there are wild turkeys in st. john. nick even admitted it after he thought i went nuts!
- saw a convertible the other day and ben asked, 'mommy why is his head outside of the car?' so cute. had to explain how they worked and now he's fascinated by them whenever we see one.
- have been so super productive around the house. makes me happy. crossing things off my list like crazy.
- looking forward to the long weekend. might be a bit hectic. going to play it by ear.
- thankful for friends {within walking distance} with new, heated, in ground pools! love that ben is such a fish.
- bath and body works has a new candle, watermelon lemonade, so good. so summery.
- speaking of yummy smells. totally enjoying my new scentsy purchases. did pretty good picking scents without smelling them. i liked all but one. that never happens!

- why must body builders be orange? or that insanely dark brown?
- heard someone say that he 'bred his wife.' ew. really? she's not a horse.
- was trying to type aggressive. ended up singing that old high school cheer to figure it out. yeah, i'm a dork.
- had a patient tell me that her pixie from fannie may almost brought her to orgasm. seriously. what is wrong with people??! funnily enough, the lady sitting next to her replied, 'there's fanny may?'
- found a new breakfast of the moment: english muffin with tomato and avocado {a little salt and pepper}. totally tasty!
- i am beyond obsessed with my new app purchase. highly recommended. especially for $0.99!
- nick listened to our house voice mails today. the first message was from 2/18. oops!
- i dislike stinky people. especially when they should know better. and don't blame it on their smoking status. good hygiene is good hygiene regardless of their inability to smell.
- got a new camera for mom's day. need to figure out how to get it hooked up to the wifi. yay for easier photo sharing.
- i guess it's technology time in the pressner house. debating a new laptop. can't believe mine is 5 years old. it's dying a slow death and we're hoping to purchase before that happens.
